This 2-day course will provide an overview of current treatment approaches for several neurological conditions and frequently-seen problems when working in neurological rehabilitation. Based on evidence and experience-informed sources, the emphasis during the course will be on analysis of movement, understanding the concepts of functional rehabilitation and demonstration of practical treatment suggestions. Current information on CIMT, PWR/ LSVT, orthoses and neuro-visual rehab will also be presented.
acquie and Wendy will draw on their many years of working with clients with neurological impairments to distill into 2 days some basic skills for how to differentially treat commonly seen problems, and how to initiate and progress functional neurological rehabilitation.
