Brief Description

This course-based Masters program combines research experience with advanced clinical skills needed to work in the emerging field of wound care.  An interprofessional program involving nurses, physicians, chiropodists specialists, OTs and PTs from across Canada. The one year graduate program includes 5 courses that are delivered via interactive online modules with three mandatory onsite residency periods lasting 1-2.5 weeks duration (Sept., Jan. & July).  Students will also complete a research project and enjoy a clinical mentorship experience working within the clinical service of an approved wound care expert.

This one of kind program in Canada has graduated over 120 advanced health care clinicians specializing in skin health and wound care since 2007.   We have a 98.6% satisfaction amongst our graduates and 76% have taken on new leadership roles in the wound care field after graduating.

  • Requirements include Bachelor’s degree and current practice license in a profession related to wound care with at least 2 years clinical experience.
