3 Weekends - September 13-15 & 27-29, October 4-6, 2019: Friday 1:00-6:00pm (no break), Saturday and Sunday 8:30am-4:30pm.
This three weekend course teaches the assessment and treatment techniques necessary to safely and effectively manipulate all areas of the spine, ribs and pelvis. The Ontario College of Physiotherapists has previously accepted the successful completion of this course and examinations as sufficient to make the graduate of the course eligible for the spinal manipulation roster. The course and examinations have also been accepted for registering as a manipulative therapist in Alberta, Quebec and the Yukon.
The fee includes all classroom sessions, materials, examinations and tests.
This course is an abbreviated form of the four weekend course taught in Alberta and does not teach the routine biomechanical or diagnostic examination of the spine but only the safety and specific techniques required for safe and efficient manipulation so students should have the Division’s Level 2 upper and lower course or equivalent.
Successful completion of the in course and online exams will result in a certificate of spinal manipulative therapy – CMT designation. For more info on the course please visit the website. We will be completing Series 1 CMT module 2ab and 3.
Course refunds (fee for course plus HST) are issued for cancellations received no less than two weeks prior to the event, less a $50 cancellation fee. No refunds are issued for cancellations less than two weeks prior to the course unless the course is cancelled by the OPA that includes its Districts. Some exceptions may apply.
