Job Description | Full time or part time Physio: caseload ready!
Join our award-winning team to take on a full-time caseload waiting for you; a skilled Physiotherapist who is ready to join a practice that is elevating the standards. Enjoy life on the coast, where your work makes a difference every day.
Benefits:
- Flexible Hours: Build a schedule that works for you. We have learned what we want; a boss who supports us in discovering our ideal working / free time balance. For some it's being off by school pick ups. For others, longer days = longer weekends. Some just want full time with their vacation bank and the option to take some extra time for big trips. We believe in a person centered approach to our HR. We don't offer services on weekends, but sometimes staff work a weekend for their own scheduling preferences, but we wouldn't ask anyone to. See what we mean about flexibility?
- Variety Spice of Life: We don’t get bored, we each have our charcuterie board of work. Some want a majority of clinic based work, with a little outing here and there in the week to break it up, be it home visit or remote clinic. Others prefer more home visits and less clinic. Some prefer consulting work over direct care, or more admin than clinical work. What would your mix be? We can tailor your routine based on you. Tell us how you would design your day, and we will show you what worklife redesign really means.
- Relocation Assistance: Financial moving help, and practical assistance finding housing. Company vehicle available. If you are moving to Campbell River, we can help you with the steps. Finding rental housing, knowing good areas, finding a realtor, funding assistance for the move, and use of the company vehicle with personal use option
- Tech-Forward Systems: Embrace efficient, cloud-based tools that simplify your work. We use Jane for scheduling and systems that remove admin off clinical staff. We want you to be free from work when you are off.
- Great Compensation: We offer an hourly wage during orientation and until you have a caseload that meets your scheduling preferences (1 every 1hr? or every 1.5hrs? No problem!) Once your caseload is matching your scheduling goal, you'll switch to a commission based employee. Our employees love the Health Spending Account, vacation, hourly sick bank, and the leave of absence availability.
- Amazing Work Culture: Be part of a passionate, professional, and welcoming team. We go out for work meals often, and get together socially frequently. Hiking, skiing, fishing, bowling, game nights, stand up paddle boarding, and beach days are just some of the things we do together.
- A Lifestyle, Not Just a Job: Affordable living, stunning scenery, and a community to call home. Campbell River has so much to offer, such as the extensive mountain biking trail networks, alpine sports on Mount Washington (30 min drive to the top), fishing (our city is along a beautiful waterfront), golfing, and access to the incredible North Coast of Vancouver Island are some of our favourite features.
About Us:
We are a private Physiotherapy social enterprise. What does that mean? It means we make a profit so we can enjoy our lives, AND we have vision and passion for creating something outstanding. Our Physiotherapists do Physiotherapy, but they also are care plan leaders who mentor and guide a team of very experienced and professional staff. We all learn from each other, but Physio is the heart of what we do and provide both hands on and consultative therapy. Sound advanced? That’s ok! We have heaps of experience to help you learn the ropes, and you will have time to learn.
Role:
- Start by providing clinic-based physiotherapy services, with opportunities to learn and hone your skills in home base therapy as you grow comfortable.
- Take the time to do it right; for clinic: 1hr initials, > 30 minutes for follow ups.
- Receive comprehensive support and training from our experienced team to excel in community-based care.
- Start in our Campbell River Clinic, and grow from there.
- We have less than 10% of our caseload related to ICBC or WSBC, and it is usually home visits for people who really need our help
Qualifications
- Registered Physiotherapist with College of Health and Care Professionals of BC
- Valid BC driver's license and reliable BC insured vehicle
- Very comfortable using own computer, smartphone, and have experience using cloud based platforms
- Physios with interest in orthopedic, pediatric, general practice, acute care, post operative or neurological rehab are all assets we would appreciate!
