Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in private clinic setting, focusing on treatment and rehabilitation for patients of all ages. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility and improve overall health outcomes. We are primarily looking for a physiotherapist with excellent manual therapy skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to evaluate their physical condition and functional abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to promote recovery and enhance physical function.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and self-care strategies.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with medical standards.
• Stay current with medical terminology and advancements in physiotherapy practices.
• Provide support with acute injuries ensuring timely interventions for patients with critical needs.

 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid physiotherapy license to practice in Ontario.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to physiotherapy practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to develop rapport with patients while demonstrating empathy and understanding of their conditions.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and patient management.
