Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Physiotherapist to join our team. Being a small, family owned clinic it is incredibly important to us to find the right fit. Our team works closely together to ensure that patients receive the best possible treatment, and leave feeling valued and cared for.

We have a golden retriever that greets our patients as they enter our clinic, providing "therapy" before the physiotherapy begins. We provide holistic care with the support of other practitioners. We love coffee, plants, and himalayan salt lamps.

Our ideal candidate will have additional manual therapy courses, as we confidently provide hands on treatment for the patients scheduled appointment time. We do not have Physiotherapy Assistants, and do not do overlapping appointments to ensure our practitioners are focused on one patient at a time.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility, strength, and function.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and self-care strategies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in physiotherapy practices and techniques.

Qualifications

  • Valid physiotherapy license to practice in Ontario, and individual malpractice insurance.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team.
  • Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and continuous professional development.
