We’re a busy clinic in downtown Cambridge (Preston) that has an excellent reputation for being results-focused and helping recreational athletes and active individuals in the areas of:

• Rehab and recovery of acute injuries and chronic conditions
• Post surgical recovery

We prioritize a 1-on-1 patient-centric model focused on structural and functional assessment, hands-on treatment and exercise rehab.

Patients come to see us from all over the tri-cities, Guelph and beyond. We have a beautiful store front location with ample parking, big windows, and lots of natural light.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled Exercise/Rehab Based Physiotherapist to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will have a focus in orthopaedics and experience and/or interest in working with athletes and active individuals of all ages (new grads are welcome and encouraged to apply!)

A unique part of this position will be assistance with our cancer rehab program (training provided) which is a free service we offer to our community.

5 shifts per week Mon-Fri

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and testing to diagnose and treat MSK conditions
• Create personalized treatment plans for patients based on patients goals and diagnosis
• Implement exercise rehabilitation programs designed to help patients recover from injuries and improve their physical performance
• Closely monitor patient progress and make adjustments to their treatment plans as needed
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals, such as massage therapists, and chiropractors, to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care
• Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities

Requirements:

• Graduate of a recognized university Physiotherapy program
• Registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of Physiotherapists
• Professional liability insurance
• Knowledge of, and experience with, exercise prescription and rehabilitation programs
• Certified in acupuncture/dry needling an asset
• Current First Aid and CPR training
• Experience and/or interest in working with active individuals
• Friendly, caring and enjoy connecting with patients of all ages
• Ability to work independently

Compensation/Benefits:

• Guaranteed hourly base pay, and then competitive percentage split ($)
