| Job Description | Motion Works Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Centre is a Physiotherapist-owned and managed clinic with an excellent reputation for quality care and patient focused outcomes. Our established multi-disciplinary clinic is located in in Stittsville/west Kanata; active community involvement for over 28 years; offering physiotherapy, massage therapy, osteopathy, gait analysis & custom orthotics, and orthopaedic supplies (braces, compression stockings, etc.).
We have a steady flow of both Ortho & Pelvic PT referrals and are seeking a skilled self-motivated physiotherapist to join our team full-time &/or part-time.
Clinic & Position Information:
- Large, spacious, modern clinic; with large gym space, private treatment rooms, open treatment area near gym.
- We provide individualized, evidence-based, quality client care; PT - emphasized on manual therapy, exercise prescription, and client education.
- Caseload - 2-3 clients/hour; varied orthopaedic, sports, and pelvic conditions, including pre-/post-operative and some motor vehicle clients.
- NO - OHIP / WSIB.
- Training in manual therapy, acupuncture/dry needling, exercise prescription - an asset.
- Full administration, advertising, marketing, admin support provided by the clinic. ( Can easily expect 5-10 assessments per week with established caseload, and more during ramp/start up).
- Services offered: physiotherapy (pelvic floor and orthopaedic), massage therapy, dietitian, and orthopaedic supplies (braces, compression stockings, etc.).
- Caseload- varied pre- and post-natal, pelvic pain, fertility, and orthopaedic conditions. Pelvic physiotherapy appointment durations vary on needs; orthopaedic follow-up appointments (2/hour). Assessments – 60-minute one-on-one.
- Training in manual therapy, acupuncture/dry needling, exercise prescription - an asset.
- Active, in good standing, independent practice member of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO), rostered for Pelvic Physiotherapy.
- Mentorship program available(team of 4 pelvic physiotherapists & 6 ortho physiotherapists).
- Pelvic Candidate (if applicable) holds current practice experience in Pelvic Health/Physiotherapy AND/ORinterest in pursuing further continuing education in pelvic floor physiotherapy. Funding available for appropriate candidate working toward completing all 3 levels of Pelvic Health Solutions training, or equivalent.
- PPE and all clinical equipment provided by clinic.
