Specific Candidate Requirements:
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Bilingual
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Commitment to achieving excellence in patient care
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments of patients' physical conditions and functional abilities.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments and goals.
- Implement treatment plans using techniques such as manual therapy, exercise programs, and modalities (e.g., ultrasound, electrical stimulation).
- Educate patients and their families about the nature of their condition and how to manage it.
- Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with chiropractors, registered massage therapists, and physiotherapy assistants to provide comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy practice through continuing education and professional development.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards set by regulatory bodies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
